Culture without barrier

In the 2022/23 season, the baj Theatre implemented the grant project “Baj bez barier – widening accessibility”, funded under the “Culture without Barriers” project.

The aim of the grant project was to ensure the accessibility of the Theatre’s offer by complementing and enhancing the audience’s journey so that any willing person interested in visiting the institution could take full and comfortable advantage of it.

The project has succeeded in:

• write and produce an audio description for two plays from the Theatre’s repertoire – “The Nutcracker”, dir. Ewa piotrowska and for “Peter Pan and Wendy”, dir. Bartosz Kurowski
• prepare a guide with a virtual tour of the Theatre
• make a set of seven tiflographs
• adapt the sales page to meet accessibility requirements
