Description of the performance

Audio description performance For various reasons, however, the species were put at odds and, as it often happens, they became the worst of enemies. The old conflict has not been fixed ever since, and it goes on to the present day. It comes back to the streets of Warsaw on a dark winter night.

Empathetic Clara and her mischievous brother Fred receive a nutcracker as a gift from their godfather, which turns out to be no ordinary toy. It is through him that we meet the vengeful Mouse King. Together we must face the mouse army and defend all the good children from the threatening danger.

‘The Nutcracker’ is a perfect play for those who are ready to let their imagination run wild and visit a gloomy, wintry Warsaw which is full of wonders.

The play is a modern interpretation of ‘The Nutcracker‘ by E.T.A. Hoffman. It explores a variety of theatrical techniques, allowing the audience to enter the world of dreams where imagination can run free.
