Who really is Pinocchio? Is he a marionette? Is he a wooden boy who lies, and then his nose gets longer? Or is he a normal kid, curious of the world and interested in new adventures in which he loses himself completely, like any other child would?
It’s a street show based on suspension of disbelief, which could work in any space filled with a curious audience. In order to tell you the story of Pinocchio, a group of modern troubadours from our theatre will take you to the courtyards of the Praga district. There will be revelry, music, and theatre, everything with great panache. And all this to stand up in defence of children’s fragile sensitivity and their right to authentic curiosity of the world.
This street show is part of the project ‘Theatrical carriage in the courtyards of the Praga district’.
It was possible thanks to the financial assistance of the Capital City of Warsaw within the city’s Integrated Revitalisation Programme for the years 2014-2022.
