Description of the performance

There is a riddle hidden in the performance. We get to know two very different worlds from each other. Whether they have anything in common becomes apparent as the plot unfolds.
The first part of the play takes place in Zyliria. It is a land where time is measured differently. The rhythm of the Zylirians’ lives is determined by the cyclical succession of Appearances, Presences, Disappearances, and periods of Emptiness. The Day of the Apparition is a great celebration – this is when the Great Hand arrives from heaven, bringing some precious Thing (different each time) and leaving it in the town square for a few days – this is the time of the Presence. Then the Great Hand reappears to take the Thing back. The time of the Void then begins. In Zyliria we get to know Ole, his parents and friends, and the Mayor more closely. Ole, like any child, dreams of the Presence lasting longer than the Void. Does he manage to fulfill his dream?
In the second part of the show, we learn the story of the famous illusionist Bombalini, who was considered by many to be the magician of all time. He has dreamt of magic and sorcery since he was a child, but he did not expect his career to take such an unexpected turn and the magic tricks he had prepared could get out of hand. What was the result?
‘Oh, My Chucolate!’ is a show for young detectives, who can solve the chucolate mystery better than adults. It’s a gripping and light-hearted show, full of surprises, unexpected plot twists, fast-flowing action, songs, and humour.

The CD of the radio play “And let it be a chocolat!” is now on sale – available at the Theatre.
