“Gretel and Hansel” is the title of the children’s play we are going to produce to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Baj Theatre –Poland’s oldest puppet theatre. The performance will be based on the text “Gretel and Hansel” by the highlyacclaimed and often award-winning Canadian author Susanne Lebeau. The performance will be directed by Gervais Gaudreault – director,founder and long-standing director of Le Carrousel theatre company in Quebec, Canada. Internationally acclaimed artists will preparestaging on the stage of the Baj that corresponds with the classic fairy tale we are all very familiar with. A story about attachment,siblings, and bonding, but also a bit about jealousy and sometimes difficult family emotions – a touching tale that has already won the heartsof many audiences around the world, in Poland, it will be presented for the first time.PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
