A home seems to be something simple, something we know very well. It turns out, however, that each of us has different experiences, memories and wishes when it comes to the notion of home. Let’s take a closer look at the idea of home and the connotations that this word brings to our minds. In this respect, the experience of the residents of the Praga district during the Integrated Revitalisation Programme of the Capital City of Warsaw is particularly important to us. We’d like to take in the perspective of our neighbours, whose ‘home’ is currently being transformed and has become something fluid.
We will be working outside the theatre and organising meetings with actors, theatre educators and the residents of the Praga district. This will allow us to create an anthology of stories, traces and experiences of the occupants of Praga’s houses, both children and adults.
It was possible thanks to the financial assistance of the Capital City of Warsaw within the city’s Integrated Revitalisation Programme for the years 2014-2022.
The play was created in partnership with the Theatre Educators Association.
